Dark Moor es una banda de Neo-classical metal/Power Metal, fundada en Madrid (España) en 1993. Formada en 1993 por el guitarrista Enrik García y el bajista Anan Kaddouri, han producido 3 discos completos antes de cambiar de miembros ("Shadowland" en 1999, "The Hall Of The Olden Dreams" en 2000, y "The Gates Of Oblivion" en 2002). Estos tres miembros, incluyendo a la vocalista Elisa C. Martín, (sustituída por Alfred, un vocalista gaditano proveniente de Chiclana de la Frontera) dejaron el grupo para formar su propio proyecto, Dreamaker. Los demás miembros continuaron en la banda e hicieron audiciones para miembros potenciales a ser parte de Dark Moor, y así lanzar su disco homónimo "Dark Moor" en el año 2003. Si bien no hay teclista oficial en la banda, prácticamente todas las canciones del mismo CD (y los siguientes) incluyen ese instrumento. Dos años después, en 2005, vería la luz un nuevo trabajo, el segundo trabajo de Dark Moor con su nueva formación, al que bautizaron con el nombre de "Beyond The Sea", un disco al puro estilo Dark Moor pero un tanto más melódico. Éste CD fue uno de los más exitosos que han lanzado. En 2007 lanzaron su nuevo CD, "Tarot", inspirado en las cartas de dicho juego, donde se nombran los objetos y personajes que caracterizan a las mismas, como la Luna, el Tonto, los Amantes, el Carro, la Estrella, el Colgado, el Demonio en la Torre, el Emperador, la Rueda de la Fortuna y hasta la misma Muerte. Éste CD, beneficiado de su nueva discográfica Arise Records, ha sido muy bien distribuido en Europa y otros países como Japón, donde obtuvieron muy buenas ventas. La banda afirma estar en su mejor momento artístico justificándose que su nuevo trabajo quizás es el mejor que hayan hecho, además de ser muy populares y reconocidos por el mismo. En enero de 2009 lanzaron su último disco hasta la fecha, Autumnal, donde se puede apreciar claramente el progreso de la agrupación, y en donde se siente aún mas el estilo Neo-clásico. El álbum cuenta con una versión del Lago de los Cisnes de Tchaikovsky y de la obra Fausto de Goethe.
