Discografia de ANGRA

Historia
La formación primigenia de Angra se remonta a 1992 y está compuesta por Luis Barrios a las voces y teclado, Rafael Bittencourt a la guitarra, Kiko Loureiro como segundo guitarra, Luis Mariutti al bajo y Marco Antunes a la batería. Con la entrada de Andre Matos, proveniente de Viper, la banda encontró finalmente su dirección. Influenciada por el power/heavy metal clásico de grupos como Helloween o Iron Maiden el estilo de Angra continúa en la línea de las guitarras rápidas con altísimos componentes de carácter melódico y voces agudas al estilo de Michael Kiske o Bruce Dickinson.

El año 1992 publican su primera maqueta, Reaching Horizons ,año 1993, con la publicación de su primer álbum Angels Cry que se volverán mundialmente conocidos. En 1996 Angra, con su cautivador Holy Land, quizá su mejor y más completo trabajo que, con canciones como Carolina IV, llega al máximo esplendor en materia de power metal sinfónico de los años 90.

Al año siguiente graban el directo Holy Live que incluyó todos los éxitos anteriores. En 1998, publican su tercer disco,2001 Rebirth, finalmente, en 2004, su último disco se presenta como un trabajo de metal progresivo
