http://www.agathocles.com/ Agathocles es una banda Belga formada en 1985 bajo el nombre de "Hellsaw" Luego de 3 demos y una corta existencia, en 1987 la banda toma el nombre "Agathocles", cambiando del Death Metal Sucio a un particular estilo de Grindcore que llamaron "Mincecore". Connotados por su fidelidad a la vieja escuela y una actitud completamente anti-elitista, consecuencia en su discurso y recordándonos siempre que el Grindcore es protesta. También son reconocidos por su persistencia al lanzar splits año tras año con bandas de prácticamente todo el mundo (y no necesariamente con bandas solo Grind). Jan Frederickx (bajo y voz actualmente) es el único miembro fundador que queda, ha aparecido en cada lanzamiento de la banda hasta la fecha y personalmente creo que es un ejemplo a seguir por todos los seguidores del Grind.
