Pet Shop Boys - The Remixes Vol. I & The Remixers Vol II

Pet Shop Boys se forma en 1981, cuando un ex editor de Marvel Comics y periodista de la revista Smash Hit Magazine llamado Neil Tennant, conoce en un local de articulos electronicos al estudiante de arquitectura Chris Lowe. Su conversacion sobre los vaivenes de la musica dance fue el puntapie inicial para la formacion del duo. Decididos a comenzar a diseñar canciones juntos, deciden llamar al proyecto Pet Shop Boys. El nombre surge en honor a un amigo que trabajaba en una tienda de mascotas, mientras que tambien esta ligado al tipo de nombres que solian usar los rappers de New York por esa epocas.
