El enigma de pink floyd

Enigma en pink Floyd??

Bueno cabros, resulta que en el chat ayer apareció el marrano nombrando algo del supuesto enigma del disco “THE DIVISION BELL” de Pink Floyd, y yo dije:”enigma??, que enigma, de que me perdi, posora??
Bueno, cachureando por internet y tratando de averiguar que wea era eso me encontré con varias cosillas interesantes, asi que voy a tratar de resumir un poco

Cuando comenzo la gira del disco, o mas bien dicho a los poquitos días de que partió la gira de lanzamiento del "The Division Bell"(1994) un mensaje muy extraño aparece en el llamado grupo “usenet alt.music.pink-floyd” (una usenet es algo asi como una red de usuarios comunicados en una red informática, alo asi como la precuela de lo quehoy se conoce como Redes sociales). Este post fue el comienzo de varios mensajes posteados de forma irregular hasta que terminan en abril de 1997, estos posteos se mantienen en el anonimato y la ambigüedad.
como eran tan extraños los mensajes se pensó que este primer posteo podría ser de alguien dentro del equipo de la banda ( asistentes, managers, productores, tecnicos o los mismos musicos) el autor del mensaje hacia una pregunta especifica refiriendose si los fans de la banda habian escuchado el mensaje que habia entregado Pink Floyd… este extraño autor se hacia llamar Publius
Publius entonces declaró(posteo) que había "un enigma" para solucionar, pero él no dijo de que se trataba "el enigma" o cual era. Él entonces instruyó a los fans para que abran sus mentes y comuniquen el uno con el otro, este era el único modo que encontrarían las respuestas (a su enigma) Cuatro palabras llaman la atención en este primer posteo.

Era evidente que había que poner importancia en esas 4 palabras...
El primer mensaje de Publius fue recibido con cierta incredulidad por parte de los lectores de noticias en el grupo
Despues aparecio el segundo mensaje, y la sensación de incertidumbre e incredulidad se incremento, en julio de ese año muchos fans estaban convencidos y creian que Publius era real, no obstante otros siguen en duda.
El “enigma” cobro veracidad y cierta credibilidad cuando al inicio del concierto de East Rutherford, en Nueva Jersey las luces se encienden formando la frase “engima Publius”. Las luces formaron esa frase durante la canción “Keep Talking”.



Esto sirvió para fortalecer la confianza dentro de los que habían optado por seguir este interesante “enigma”, y también sirvió para encausar a otras personas a interesarse en la banda y escuchar "The Division Bell". Los escépticos abundan y siguen hasta el día de hoy,poniendo en duda la autenticidad del Enigma, a pesar de que ha sido varias las pruebas de su legitimidad.

Nueva Jersey no fue la única prueba de la veracidad del “enigma”
En el otoño, Publius hizo esta declaración ..."Otra inusual y concluyente señal se está preparando para validar su confianza!"

en Earls Court, el 20 de octubre, en la parte posterior de un telon al comienzo de Another Brick In The Wall parte 2, la palabra ENIGMA fue proyectado en grandes letras.



Este concierto fue televisado en directo en Europa en la misma noche, y luego el 1 de Noviembre en los Estados Unidos.
A finales de 1994 "The Momentary Lapse of Reason" sale a la venta en minidisc. En la caratula del disco, que es como un librito hay dos paginas, las cuales acreditan el Enigma de Publius. En una foto, con el texto en blanco sale la palabra Enigma, en otra foto, también con el texto en blanco, sale la palabra Publius...






Durante los años, distintas fuentes se han esforzado por aclarar el famoso misterio . Los miembros de la Banda han sido entrevistados en innumerables ocasiones, pero ellos continuamente dicen que no saben nada del Enigma.

Marc Brickman (director del equipo de iluminación) fue entrevistado, y entre sus comentarios afirmo que “tenía la orden de poner ciertas cosas en las luces”, o corria el riesgo de perder su puesto de trabajo.
​

Nick Mason (baterista de la banda) dijo tiempo después que –“Publius Enigma existió realmente y que había sido instigado por la compañía discográfica más que por la banda”.
Hasta el día de hoy, la identidad de Publius sigue siendo un misterio.
Existen muchisimas paginas, las cuales intentan resolver el enigma pero ninguna ha dado con las respuestas

It's a wake up call! It's time for each and every person who can
breathe to wake up! Our time is short and look what we do with it! We
do more focusing on the bad than the good. We spend our time fighting
eachother instead of helping. We believe in the Right One's words who
have been forgotten. The Sports page means more to us than the Right
One. Of course there are many who DO have the fatih, but imagine what
it would be like if we ALL had it?

Everyone complains about how messed up the world is but is anything
ever done? That five bucks you sent to Greenpeace is cool...but it's
just not cutting it folks. Real change begings with the heart. It's
time that the positive take over the negative and TAKE IT BACK! Grab
your bliss now friends...because soon it's all going to slip away.
Look at the brightside rather than the darkside for a change and make
the connection with the Right One. He's waiting for you.
