Hoy traigo una de las tantas bandas que tiene el ex baterista y emblema de Dream theater Mike Portnoy, se trata de Trasatlantic con 4 trabajos a su haber traigo su último trabajo llamado Kaleidoscope la banda incluye a Neal Morse, Roine Slot, Pete Trewavas y el nombrado Mike Portnoy, con relacion a sus trabajos anteriores este nuevo disco presenta temas más elaborados y con ese toque progresivo carateristico de la mente de Portnoy, sé que muchos seguidores de este estilo no hay muchos ya que lo encontraran aburrido, asi como Dream theater está pajero ultimamente, pero es un disco ligero y relajante contiene además un par de covers a Yes, John Lennon y King Crimson. Además cuenta con Chris Carmichael en el Chelo, Rich Mouser que toca la guitarra rapida en el tema Beyond the sun y Daniel Gindenlow que tiene una aparición vocal en el tema "Written in your heart".
