MYTHS AND REAL DIFFERENCES BETWEEN CRAFT AND INDUSTRIAL BEER

Craft beer online shop is defined by contrast. It can be. Although all beers share the 4 basic ingredients (water, malt, yeast, hops) they are understood to be different from industrial beers. But what makes them different?
Let's face the answer trying to avoid moralistic dichotomies, because for many people industrial beers are the bad guys in the movie and craft beers are the virtue incarnated in a sacred food. Clearly an unnecessary war. The idea is to find out what pleasures each of them can give us and to love good beer, regardless of whether it is one or the other.
One could say that the volume of production is not such an important issue because by keeping the proportions, that is, the spirit of the recipe, industrial beer can produce beer as good as craft beer. However, this is not so, because the stakes are different in each case. On this point, craft beer, and behind it the brewmaster, has a great advantage: he can follow his intuitions, he can explore according to his whims, because the tools and the amount of production allow him to do so. Both have different objectives: craft beer differentiates itself with a segment-oriented product, even at the cost of charging a little more. Industrial beer seeks a product that reaches the majority at an affordable cost.
Truth 2: fermentation is somewhat different
This is one of the key stages in the production of beers, and in any of them there is always a first fermentation. Once this process is finished, the beer runs out of carbon dioxide (CO2). The difference is that in craft beer there is a second fermentation, which obtains a natural gas, synthesized by the yeast itself in the bottle or keg. In industrial beer, on the other hand, carbon dioxide is most often injected artificially.
Truth 3: Craft beer has a greater variety of flavor and aroma.
Precisely because craft beer manufacturers are looking for consumer niches not reached by industrial beers, the range of styles is usually wider. Thus, craft beer has more peculiar and extreme colors. Or more full-bodied. The aromas are intense and the flavors are well defined.
