Según la Real Academia de la Lengua Española (RAE) sugiere la siguiente definición para "culturismo"(Del fr. culturisme; cf. al. Körperkultur).1. m. Práctica de ejercicios gimnásticos encaminada al excesivo desarrollo de los músculos.Culturismo Chile se compone por jóvenes profesionales de distintas áreas, aficionados a la musculación.De esta forma nace este portal, con la necesidad de la redefinición del mencionado concepto. Pretendemos globalizar este término y de esta forma incluir también otras áreas tales como estética corporal; wellness (bienestar integral); fitness para damas; sobrepeso; lesiones y una larga lista de etcéteras. Básicamente, queremos demostrar que "culturismo" es sentirse bien con uno mismo. Sin embargo, la especialidad de la casa es el fisicoculturismo recreativo y de competición.
