Turn your bar into a bar

You want to transform your bar into a cultural and nightlife mecca but you don't know how to go about it? It's much easier than you think. Many Parisian bars have real weekly or daily lineups, and more and more establishments are hosting live musicians. Linkaband explains how to turn your bar into a concert Madrid Pub Crawls & Bar Tours in ten easy steps!

Step 1: Start with a few gigs
Now that you know how to find a band! It's time to put your knowledge into practice! Start with one or two gigs a month to smoothly make the transition, to take the temperature and to let your regular customers know that you now aspire to be THE place to spend the evening to discover the stars of tomorrow.

NB: if you plan to organize concerts in your establishment on a regular basis (more than 6 performances per year), you will need to apply for a performance license, unless you work with Linkaband... ;)

Step 2: Take care of your communication!
If you want to become a popular bar-concert in the capital, you will have to communicate on your events and your program. Use the economic means at your disposal: posters on the windows of your bar, publication on your facebook page (creation of event), website, newsletter. Don't hesitate to ask the artists you will host to advertise the event on social networks and contact the press if you want to be presented as THE new Parisian scene.

Step 3: Find out about the administrative formalities/regulatory obligations involved in organizing concerts
Certain administrative formalities are essential for organizing regular concerts in your establishment. Between security and insurance obligations, payment of artists and rights to be paid to SACEM, organizing concerts on a regular basis is not an easy task... unless you work with Linkaband, which takes care of everything ;)

If you are used to play music for your bar, you also know that the sound level is limited for bars and restaurants. Associations such as Les Pierrots de la Nuit help you organize events while staying on good terms with your neighborhood and educate night owls about noise pollution.
