[Biografía] IU - Lee Ji-eun

IU (아이&#50976 es una cantante de K-Pop nacida el 16 de mayo de 1993 en Seúl, Corea del Sur. Realizó sus estudios en laDongdeok High school. En su país es conocida como “La hermanita de la Nación” por su aspecto infantil e inocente. Su club oficial de fans se llama Uaena. Es frecuente verla en programas de televisión versionando con su guitarra canciones populares de otros artistas. También es famosa porque en su canción “Good Day” alcanza, con su voz de soprano, tres notas octavas altas.
Debutó el 18 de septiembre del 2008 con su single “Lost Child” pero no alcanzó popularidad hasta dos años más tarde. En 2010, con su álbum “Real” recibió los primeros premios, y su participación como una de las actrices principales en la serie “Dream High” (KBS2, 2011) fue lo que la impulsó al éxito general. A partir de entonces hizo varias colaboraciones musicales así como de interpretación, y participó en numerosos anuncios publicitarios y promociones de firmas, principalmente cosméticas.
