Cuando murio B (alias Nattdal) de Lifelover; la verdad me importo bien poco, solo que con él se terminaba una de las bandas mas importantes de la escena DSBM y eso fue lo mas triste. Un dia escuchando el track Nackskott(Pulver) de Lifelover en youtube me intrigo una versión del mismo tema hecha por una banda de Georgia llamada PSYCHONAUT 4 . Mi reacción fue como estar en acido mis pelos se erizaron y fue un golpe de caos y metal k me voló la raja con la interpretación del mismo mas k el vodka k pudiera nublarme los sentidos. Esta wea es verdadero talento mas k distorsion sónica-pense jajajaja.
Una versión diferente agresiva, rápida y maligna con mucho de locura y desenfreno. Por ahí llegue a esta banda y kede boquiabierto con el primer demo de estos bebedores vodkianos sicotrópicos que se llamaba 40%. Simplemente alucinante, rápido, con una aura muy blacker punk, desenfrenada, agresiva, desesperada y con una interpretación vocal muy talentosa en las voces de un tipo llamado Graf Von Baphomet.
Psychonaut 4 es una banda de Georgia que se formó en el verano de 2010. Su primer demo es el citado 40% llamado así por la cantidad de alcohol (o mas bien el vodka bebido en la producción del mismo)
. El demo consta de 3 canciones: "Serial Lier", "Parasite" y "Antihuman [Drug=Друг]". Ellos describen su música como Modern Suicidal Narcotic Depressive Black Metal.Las letras se basan principalmente en torno a las drogas, el alcohol y la depresión.PSYCHONAUT 4- 40%
Son 22 minutos con 3 temas k se pasan volando y donde cada uno de ellos es distinto al otro y te engacha en un disco k se torna adictivo. Para mi esta poseído por distintas influencias k ha tenido esta novel y honesta banda, k a primera escucha alguien podría decir k se parece a Lifelover, pero se oye distinta sobre todo por su variedad en la composición con riffs k vuelan, donde el trabajo de guitarras son hechas por Glixxx (Im Nebel, Snatch, etc) y Drifter (Monofucktura) y suenan bastante bien, sobre todo en la primera canción "serial lier" se confronta rapidez, melodía, desagrado, locura y la voz torturada de Graf es como si fuese otro instrumento k provoca una violencia k se vuelve catártica. La batería a cargo de Nepho es realmente admirable y junto con André en el bajo que sólo contribuyen a k la ambientación de esta banda presagie k se trata de un grupo mas k talentoso k en el futuro dará mucho k hablar.
Entrevista con Graf Von Baphomet (vocalista de PSYCHONAUT 4)
Para mi el punto fuerte de esta banda es -sin duda- Graf Von Baphomet (26 años). Tiene una voz potente, que suena desesperada, pero a la vez es capaz de dosificar potencia con melodía en sus harsh y no ser solo berridos como algunos vocalistas del genero k ni cantan. Aunque no lo crea esta es su primera banda. Su interpretación para mi esta influenciada por kim (Lifelover), tiene una dosis de Kvarforth, pero por sobre todo de bandas francesas k son parte de la french elite bm. Para que no este acostumbrado al DSBM su voz será desagradable, pero k potencia k seria capaz de poner un pelukin al krusty, peinar los pelos para adentro al bigote y mover al buko. Me pregunte k tan desagradable será este tipo, k me puede decir de su banda, su interpretación y letras. Encontré la banda en fb y me dispuse a agregar a este flaco depressive como amigo. Webeandolo como 1 mes mas o menos consegui esta entrevista en ingles, k traduje para uds y k me dio interesantes resultados. De como una banda puede ser buena, honesta y k esta lejos de weones k se creen la raja mientras no han hecho nada con sus putas vidas. Mas encima con un demo como 40 % k para mi es el mejor demo que he oído desde hace bastante tiempo.

2)Tu sabes que soy F.Kurjak (somos amigos en Fb). Me considero fan de Psychonaut 4 desde que escuche casualmente el cover de unas de mis bandas favoritas Lifelover Nackskott que uds hicieron para este, y después escuche su demo 40% y simplemente no he parado de escucharlo. Es un maravilloso y adictivo demo de narcotic (black) metal. Aquí hay algunos users que se sonrieron cuando dije que había leído que su banda es narcotic metal, aunque también he leído que uds son post suicidal black metal o DSBM hasta doom.
¿Cuál crees que la mejor definición para tu música?
-(Graf von Baphomet) Si vamos a empezar a hablar ahora acerca de la creación de la banda. Esta se toma un montón de tiempo, pero lo que puedo decir que no es un procedimiento sencillo. Si podemos definir nuestro estilo: en el comienzo de nuestra carrera de a poco se puede inducir a error a nuestros oyentes a situarnos entre varios estilos. Pero pronto dejamos claro que el estilo que tocamos es Post Suicidal Black Metal.
3) Háblanos acerca de influencias: bandas, las drogas, mierda, alcohol (su demo "40%" fue hecho con estas) ... ¿Qué es lo que te inspira para escribir las letras? ¿como se puede describir cómo el proceso de escritura de estas?
- (Graf von Baphomet) Lo que puedo decir acerca de las influencias ...? No puedo decir que una banda influyó en mi formación como músico .. Para ser honesto, PS4 es la primera banda en mi vida. (Antes de esta yo nunca cante en otra banda y hasta ahora no toco ni un instrumento musical.) Estoy escuchando un montón de bandas de diferentes estilos, algunas me gusta más, otras menos. Para mi es difícil elegir algunas bandas favoritas. Si en algún momento acabo de escuchar una canción, y no me importa quien es un artista, intérprete o ejecutante de ella.
Acerca de letras-la mayoría son basadas en recuerdos de estados bajo la influencia de estupefacientes y bebidas alcohólicas, por eso incluso a muchos oyentes les resulta caóticas y delirantes. Un matiz más es que, aparte de la regla generalmente aceptada por la banda,es que se trate de no usar algunas frases entusiastas y escribir letras en el lenguaje cotidiano común. Todas las letras se refieren sólo a mí, y yo no estoy tratando que alguien entienda lo que pasa en mi mundo interior. Las partes más importantes de las letras son escritas en lengua rusa, porque es mi lengua materna y es difícil para mí expresar mis pensamientos en otro idioma.
4) Yo sólo sabía de Georgia que era un estado de Antigua URSS, y por supuesto que hubo una guerra allá en los últimos años de esta década. ¿Crees que los conflictos de esta guerra influyeron de alguna manera en su música, o el estado de ánimo para crear una música depresiva?
- (Graf von Baphomet) no, esta guerra no nos ha influenciado para escribir nuestra música.
5) ¿Cuál es el significado del nombre Psychonaut 4?
- (Graf von Baphomet) Sobre el nombre de la banda lo que puedo decir en pocas palabras es: Probablemente todos ustedes ahora sabran el significado de la palabra "Psychonaut", y los que han probado al menos una vez DXM entenderá lo que significa 4 (risas).
Nota de Kurjak (para el pavo k no cacha de que esta hablando Graf)
Psychonaut o psiconauta: es un adicto a las sustancias sicotrópicas. Sustancias que producen alucinaciones: hongos, pastillas de todos colores, jarabes con codeína, etc.
DXM: es El dextrometorfano (también conocido como DXM o DM) es un fármaco inhibidor de la tos a nivel central mediante la inhibición de las taquicininas. En lenguaje simple el jarabe para la tos usado para alucinar y kedar como loco
y cuatro son los estados a los k puedes llegar antes k pare tu corazon si es k alguien no termina en 4 tb.6) Cuentanos acerca de su tape Split que saldrá pronto a la venta con bandas como: Force Fed Life, Moloch and Empty Tears ¿Qué piensan acerca de su colaboración con bandas como esas?

7) -Háblanos de la escena (black) metal de Georgia. ¿Con qué frecuencia hay espectáculos en vivo y cuanta gente mas o menos asiste a ellos? ¿y qué sabes sobre la escena Sudamericana (o de la escena chilena)?
- (Graf von Baphomet) En Georgia no hay ninguna escena de black metal. Sin embargo, nosotros hacemos conciertos tan a menudo como sea posible.Aunque no creemos que hayan mas de 50 oyentes están interesados ​​en nuestros shows, y honestamente no sé nada acerca de la escena black metal de Chile.
8)- ¿Qué crees acerca de las comparaciones de bandas como Lifelover, Shining que hacen algunas personas con su música?. Para mí Psychonaut 4 es un concepto diferente y no suena similar a estas, aunque sé que Lifelover les gusta tanto como a mi.
¿Qué piensa usted acerca de la muerte de "B" y, finalmente de esta banda?
- (Graf von Baphomet) Me gusta la música estas bandas. Estos se diferencian de otros ejecutantes en este género (¡Es tan triste la muerte de B, pero de todos modos Lifelover nos dejó álbumes brillantes) Pero, tanto para mi y otros miembros de la PS4 nos irrita frases de algunos oyentes que musicalmente o visualmente tratan de copiar a estas bandas. Creo que el oyente imparcial encontrará grandes diferencias entre estas bandas y nosotros.
9)-¿Por qué te cortas en el escenario? ¿se trata de "moda depressive o un sentimiento real? (Espero que su baterista este bien en estos momentos)
- (Graf von Baphomet) En realidad, cuando subo al escenario y a cantar por lo general estoy tan borracho que mis heridas se pueden clasificar como sentimientos y emociones al 100%. Simplemente no se dan cuenta de lo que estoy haciendo en el escenario o estoy muy borracho.
Y mis cortes detrás de escenario no es algo que les competa a otros, es mi vida personal.

Which is the definition that you believe is better for your music? .
-(Graf von Baphomet)If i will start talking now about creation of the band it will takes a lot of time, but i can say that it was not an easy procedure.
Lets define our style: at the beginning of a career we mislead little bit our listeners ranking among several styles. But soon we make clear that style we play is Post Suicidal Black Metal.
-Tell us about influences: bands, drugs, fuck, booze (that 40% demo was created) What inspires you the most to write your lyrics?, so can you describe how does the writing process looks like?
-(Graf von Baphomet)What i can say about influences...? I can't say that one band influenced my formation as a musician.. to be honest, PS4 is first band in my life. (Before i never sang and till now can't play on any musical instrument.) I am listening a lot of bands of different styles, some i like more, some less. It's difficult to choose some favorite bands. Sometime i just listening to song, and don't care who is a performer.
About lyrics - mostly its remembrance of narcotic and alcoholic states, because many listeners find it chaotic and even delirious. One more nuance is that aside from generally accepted rule i try not to use some enthusiastic phrases and write lyrics in common everyday language. All lyrics refer only to me and I'm not trying for someone to understand my inner world. The most significant parts of lyrics written in Russian language, because it's my native language and it's difficult for me to express my thoughts in another language.
-I just Knew Georgia was to be a state of old URSS
and of course for a war at Georgia in the last years of this decade. Do you
believe that conflicts of war influenced in some ways in your music, mood state for create a depressive music?
-(Graf von Baphomet)no,this war didn't influenced us to write our music.
- whats the meaning of the name Psychonaut 4?
-(Graf von Baphomet)About name of the band i can say briefly: Probably you all now the meaning of the word "Psychonaut", and those who tried at least once DXM will understand what means 4 (laughing).

-In Georgia there is no Black Metal scene,we paly gigs as often as it's possible.but we don't think that more than 50 listeners are interested in our shows;and honestly i don't know anything about Chili's Black Metal scene.
--What do you think in comparisons of bands like
Lifelover, Shining and their music that some persons made?. For me Psychonaut 4
its a different concept and it sounds is not similar although I know lifelover
like you as me. What do you think about of the death of B and finally of this
band?
-(Graf von Baphomet) I like these band's music, they distinguish from others performers in this genre.(It's so sad with B.'s death,but anyway Lifelover left us brillant albums) But me and other members of PS4 irritates phrases of some listeners that we musically or visually try to copy these bands. I think that unbiased listener will find big differences between these bands and us.
-Why do you cutting in stage? its fashion
depressive or a real feeling? (I just hope your drummer is well right now)
-(Graf von Baphomet)Actually when i go on stage and sing usually i am so drunk that my cuts can be classified as 100% feelings and emotions. I just don't realize what i am doing on stage, i am so drunk.
And my cuts behind stage is no ones business, its my personal life.

sychonaut 4,Diabolus Sanctus(true black metal),Im Nebel(progressive bm),Signs(sympho bm), but there are some "passive" bands like empty tears(dsbm), ruins of faith(pagan bm),adramalech(dsbm) & etc. well, what can we say about listeners.. LOL. they dont really listen to BM music, mostly they like thrash,death,deathcore,punk..."driving music".
